The information provided by Driver/Trail
Guides while on tour is comprised of 60% fact, 30% almost fact and 10% outright
lies. We leave it up to each passenger to draw their own conclusion.
All tours include a short non-strenuous
walk through the desert / geological / botanical areas. Hats, visors, sunglasses
and sunscreen are suggested.
All tours include ample time to explore
the various areas visited. While exploring,

Public lands contain many mine shafts
and adits. Do not enter or explore these features. Honor all fences, barricades
and warning signs. Barriers are in place to ensure visitor safety.
Casual attire is recommended. Dress for an open air vehicle traveling over dusty
dirt roads. Sweaters and jackets are recommended for cooler winter days. The
desert becomes cold quite quickly when you are no longer in the sun. It is better
to dress too warmly. Outer layers can always be removed if temperatures dictate.
Lap blankets are furnished on each tour.
Comfortable walking shoes
or hiking boots are suggested.
PLEASE no open toe shoes or sandals.
Colorado River Buggy Expeditions will furnish
an ice chest with ice and complimentary bottled water and soft drinks on each
tour. Passengers may bring snacks or a picnic lunch. Trash containers are provided
in the buggies. PLEASE use them... Pack it in, pack it out.
Cameras are welcome.
(Don't forget extra film & batteries)
